Oris grants a warranty period of 2 years. The warranty can be extended to 3 years, 5 years or 10 years, depending on the model, by registering with MyOris.
The warranty covers material and manufacturing defects ("defects" that existed when the watch was delivered). During the warranty period, the owner of the watch has the right to have any defect repaired free of charge. If Oris judges the repair to be unsuitable, replacement with an identical or similar Oris watch will be guaranteed within the warranty period. The guarantee is only valid if the watch has been registered by an official dealer or if the owner has officially registered the guarantee with MyOris.
Excluded from the warranty are:
- Normal wear and tear caused by wearing and ageing, e.g. scratched glasses, change in colour and/or material of leather, textile, rubber straps, etc.
- Damage due to non-compliance with the recommendations for use issued by Oris.
- Damage due to improper, abnormal and careless handling, neglect, accident, impact, etc.
- Damage caused by improper intervention by unauthorized Oris service centres.
- Watches that have been modified outside the control of Oris.
- Services that were additionally guaranteed by a direct seller, e.g. dealer.
- Indirect damage or consequential damage, e.g. due to standstill or inaccuracy, etc.
The warranty does not restrict mandatory statutory rights.
