How do I set the time on Cal. 798 watches with a screw-down crown?
Updated
Turn the crown counterclockwise until the thread loosens (position 1, winding position).
The crown is now in position 1 and can be operated (winding position).
Before setting the date and the 2nd time zone, it is recommended to make the date jump (turn the hand over 12h to determine whether 12h is noon or night). To do this, pull the crown into position 3.
Set the crown to position 2; the date quickset function can now be activated by turning the crown counterclockwise. The 2nd time zone can be set by turning the crown clockwise.
Pull the crown to position 3 to set the time correctly (the second hand stops).
After operation, the crown must be screwed back in by pressing it against the case and turning it clockwise until it locks.
