How do I set the time on Cal. 761 and 763 watches with a normal or screw-down crown?
Updated
Turn the crown counterclockwise until the thread loosens; if the crowns are not screwed in, the crown is "automatically" in position 1 (winding position).
The crown is now in position 1 and can be operated (winding position).
Before setting the date and the 2nd time zone, it is recommended to make the date jump (turn the hand over 12h to determine whether 12h is noon or night). To do this, pull the crown into position 3.
Set the crown to position 2; the date quickset function can now be activated by turning the crown counterclockwise. The moon phase can be set by turning the crown clockwise.
Pull the crown to position 3 to set the time correctly (the second hand stops).
After operation, the crown must be screwed back in (only with screw-down crowns) by pressing it against the case and turning it clockwise until it locks.
