If the strap buckle on metal or rubber straps has a fine adjustment, the length can be adjusted to a limited extent. Take a look at our explanatory video or refer to our description for instructions:
- Wear protective goggles, as the spring pin can jump into the eye.
- Open the folding clasp and place the watch with the strap (crown facing upwards) on the table.
- Use a toothpick/metal pin or needle to press in the fine adjustment on the strap buckle.
- Slowly loosen and remove the strap.
- Place the underside of the pin in the new position and press the strap against the new, upper pin position from the outside at an angle.
- Press the pin down carefully with a nail file or screwdriver and move it under the clasp fold until the pin engages.
- Check that the strap holds securely again.
Some diving watch clasps have an adjustment slide. This slide can be used to increase or decrease the length of the strap to a certain extent while the watch is being worn. A tool is not necessary.
