Place straps with pin buckles on the wrist over a table so that the watch does not fall to the floor if you make a mistake.
- Remove the watch from the wrist.
- Adjust the strap to the wrist within the specified hole spacing.
- After adjusting the pin, press it firmly into the hole so that the strap does not come loose unintentionally.
Straps with a continuously adjustable lift-folding clasp (1st generation, patented folding clasp from Oris) can be adjusted as follows:
- Remove the watch from your wrist and place it on a soft surface with the clasp open.
- Hold the looped end of the strap and pull the watch side of the strap upwards, as shown in the illustration (Fig. 1).
- Shorten the strap by pulling on the end of the strap or lengthen it by pulling on the watch side.
- Press the clasp together again until you hear a click.
The folding clasp cannot be closed if the clamp fastener is not correctly engaged.
2nd generation lift folding clasps have an eccentric which must be lifted to adjust the strap length. Once the eccentric is folded in, the watch strap is secured against unintentional adjustment.
Straps with a butterfly folding clasp (patented folding clasp from Oris): - Remove the watch from your wrist and place it on a soft surface with the clasp open.
- Pull down the eccentric flap on the inside of the long part of the strap.
- Adjust the strap to the appropriate length.
- Fold the eccentric flap back in to secure the watch strap.
