For mechanical watches with hand-wound movements, the mainspring must be wound by hand. For best results, wind the watch fully once a day. With Cal. 110+, full winding is only necessary every 10 days. There is no risk of overwinding the mainspring, as there is a protective mechanism for this.
- If present, open the screw-down crown or QLC crown.
- Turn the crown evenly clockwise in position 1. It may also be turned back and forth.
- If present, close down the screw-down crown or QLC crown.
