Some watches, especially diving watches, are equipped with a screw-down crown. Before you can operate such a crown, it must first be unscrewed.
- Turn the crown counterclockwise until it unscrews from the thread.
- The crown is now in position 1 and can be operated.
- After operation, the crown must be screwed tight again by pressing it against the case and turning it clockwise at the same time.
- Check from time to time that the crown is screwed in properly.
The watch is only water-resistant to the specified depth when the crown is screwed down.
