There are two ways to fully wind a Calibre 400 Series watch. The first is to wind the movement manually via the crown, which requires a total of 210 clockwise crown rotations, and the second is to wind the movement automatically via the rotor, which occurs while the watch is being worn. With the rotor-winding method, the movement requires at least 3,700 complete counterclockwise rotor rotations. To achieve this, the watch must be worn consistently. To maintain the power reserve level, the rotor is required to complete 30 complete counterclockwise rotor rotations per hour, or one complete rotation every two minutes.
