In the case of most new Oris watches, we recommend a service every three to five years, or when you notice a drop-off in performance. This will depend on how much you wear your watch, but even if you don’t wear it every day, we advise a service because small particles of dust can enter a watch, and watchmaking lubricants do degrade eventually. In the case of a watch powered by a Calibre 400 Series movement, we recommend getting your watch serviced every 10 years. If your watch is water-resistant and you use it to dive regularly, we would recommend getting the water resistance checked every year.
